Who is Barely Legible?

It me! (Two hair colors ago)

Hello friends! I'm Elyse, and I run Barely Legible from my hobbit hole of a basement office in Leesburg, Virginia.

In addition to custom calligraphy and hand lettering, I make fandom-inspired original watercolor pieces, handmade cards, and a handful of original shirt, mug, and tote bag designs.

I'm a high school colorguard director by day, calligrapher by night, and full-time mother to a feral four-year-old and a morbidly obese house cat. There's also a husband around here somewhere tolerating my latest hyper-fixation and all the blue hair in the sink.
